| In Strictly Come Poetry, the audience are invited to help create the evening’s entertainment by selecting the order of the poetic ‘tracks’. Journey with Charlotte Ansell, Cath Drake, Patricia Foster, Janett Plummer, Heather Taylor and Sifundo through childhood, adolescence, becoming women and mothers, the trials of family life, loving and losing love. Rich in narrative and cultural diversity, some tales take place in the home countries of Canada, Australia, UK and Jamaica.These women have performed across the UK and abroad, moving audiences with their searing humour and honesty. Borrowing from the reality show genre, they invite the audience to become a crucial and vibrant part of the evening. | |
